Tomorrow, 25th April, the EC4RURAL project was once again chosen as a good practices model to present its objectives at the local fair of the Elabhause.rur project, led by Agaca (Galician Association of Agricultural Cooperatives) and in which the municipality of Vedra participated as a partner. Vedra is one of the 22 Galician municipalities participating in EC4RURAL, where the first steps are being taken to implement a Rural Energy Community (REC).
During the fair, on Thursday 25th, the final presentation of the Elabhause.rur project will take place and other examples of good practices will be displayed at the stands.
Elabhause.rur proposes to create rural social economy laboratories based on the New European Bauhaus approach to improve the long-term sustainability of rural economies. It is funded by the European Union’s COSME programme.
The New European Bauhaus aims to promote an architectural movement to build more liveable, sustainable, and inclusive cities. Launched by the European Commission in 2020, the programme is inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the early 20th century. The Bauhaus was a school of art and design founded by the German Walter Gropius in 1919, shortly after the First World War.
